Information You Provide
Search entries
A name, place, or other term entered into an on-page search tool is transmitted to the third-party provider operating that tool. Donley County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages to us
If you email us or send a message through a contact method we make available, we retain the information needed to respond. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless disclosure is legally required.

How We Use Information
Information collected through the site is used for ordinary operation, support, and measurement purposes.
- To keep the site available and performing reliably.
- To transmit a search request to the provider selected for that function.
- To understand which resources visitors use.
- To diagnose and correct technical problems.
- To deliver advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.
Sites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to official sheriff, jail, court, corrections, and public-information resources, as well as outside search services. For example, a records request may be governed by Texas Government Code Chapter 552, but the privacy practices of an outside destination are governed by that destination’s own notice and terms.
Advertising partners may also collect activity across websites for interest-based advertising on their own systems. Their tracking is subject to their policies, not this Privacy Notice.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may nevertheless be handled by the following categories of recipients when needed for the services described above.
- Search partners that process a submitted query.
- Analytics providers that measure use of the site.
- Advertising networks that serve advertising.
- Law-enforcement or government authorities responding to a valid legal order.
Security Practices
We use reasonable practices intended to protect information under our control. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
Visitors Under 18
The site is intended for adults and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe that a minor supplied personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification of the request, you may ask us to review the information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of personal information held by us.
- Ask that inaccurate personal information be corrected.
- Request deletion of personal information where applicable.
- Opt out of certain processing where that option is available.
